Networks and fees
The same stablecoin on a different rail can cost cents or tens of dollars. Over a year of regular withdrawals that is real money for an identical outcome.

The calculation flips with size
For frequent smaller transfers, fee is the dominant factor and the cheap chains win outright.
For a single large transfer, the fee becomes a rounding error. A $20 Ethereum fee on a $50,000 transfer is 0.04%, and at that point reliability, finality and how quickly your receiving side credits matter far more than cost.
Confirmations
Once an operator signs a transaction, the delay belongs to the network. Your receiving exchange or wallet may also require a number of confirmations before crediting, which is a second wait the casino has no part in.

The XRP destination tag
Most operators require a destination tag on XRP deposits. Sending XRP without one, or with the wrong one, is the most common way XRP deposits go missing. The funds usually arrive at the operator's wallet and cannot be attributed to your account without manual intervention.
Copy the tag as carefully as the address.
The mistake that costs everything
Wrong network is usually unrecoverable. USDT on Ethereum and USDT on Tron are different assets that share a name. Check the network selector every time, and send a small test transfer when using a new address or chain. Address safety in full
