Comparable, once you fix the base

Cashback and rakeback

Two offers quoted as percentages can differ by a factor of five, purely because they are percentages of different things.

The models in this market

Instant rakeback

A share of the house edge returned on every wager as you make it. Best model for a volume player because it is unconditional, immediate, and effectively reduces the edge you play against.

Periodic cashback

A percentage of losses over a day, week or month. Value depends entirely on whether the base is net loss or theoretical loss, and periodic payment is worse for cashflow than instant.

Zero edge allowance

Not cashback at all, but functionally the strongest version of the same idea. The house edge is removed inside a daily turnover cap rather than rebated afterwards.

OperatorAllowancePer bet cap Mechanism
Duel$50,000 wagered daily$1,000Multipliers priced at zero edge directly
GamdomFirst $5,000 wagered dailyNot stated Instant partial return on eligible wagers

As stated by each operator, last checked 2026-08-18. The mechanism difference matters for how it appears in your balance, less so for expected value inside the cap.

Match bonus with wagering

The traditional model, and generally the weakest. A $1,000 bonus at 40x requires $40,000 of turnover, whose expected cost at a 1% edge is $400 and at 4% is $1,600. In the second case clearing the bonus costs more than the bonus.

Comparing across operators

Operators publish these on different bases, in different formats, and several do not publish tier detail at all. We are not going to build a comparison table of percentages when most of the cells would be operator marketing copy rather than verifiable terms.

What we can tell you reliably is the model each uses, which is more decision relevant than the headline number.

  • Duel: no welcome bonus by design. Instant wager free rakeback, published at 50% on slots and 5% on Originals, plus the zero edge allowance above.
  • Gamdom: rakeback plus the daily zero edge allowance.
  • Shuffle: instant rakeback with tier, level up and scheduled bonuses, plus a native token with weekly distributions. A token adds volatile asset exposure, so treat those rewards as speculative rather than cash.
  • Stake: the deepest tier structure in the market, with rakeback, reloads, level up bonuses and named hosts at the upper tiers.
  • Thrill: no traditional welcome bonus. Rakeback with daily, weekly and monthly bonuses and a weekly race.
  • Rainbet: rakeback plus large monthly race prize pools, which are promotional spend rather than an ongoing rate.
  • Roobet: activity based cashback and weekly rewards. Upper tier terms are not published in detail.
  • BC.Game: rakeback with a deep tier ladder.

The rule of thumb

Instant, wager free, applied per bet, is the best structure. Everything else is a variation that either defers your money, attaches a condition to it, or calculates it from a base you cannot verify.

And none of it changes the direction of the arithmetic. Why that is

Gambling carries a negative expected return. Over enough bets the house edge wins by design, and no ranking on this site changes that. If it has stopped being a choice, free confidential help exists: Peluuri in Finland, Stödlinjen in Sweden, BZgA in Germany, and GamCare internationally.
