Who actually builds the games
Game providers
The studio decides what the game does. The operator decides what it costs. Only one of those is visible in the lobby.
Crypto casinos build their Originals and license everything else. Understanding who supplies what, and which suppliers offer configurable returns, is the difference between knowing a game and knowing its price.

Variant policy reflects whether a studio makes more than one RTP configuration available to operators. It does not indicate which configuration any given casino has selected.
The one thing that matters here
Most major slot studios offer operators a choice of RTP settings on the same title. The game looks identical either way. This is standard industry practice, it is disclosed in the in-game info panel, and almost nobody reads it.
Live dealer is different
Evolution dominates live dealer supply across this market. Live table RTP is set by the rules of the game rather than a configurable setting, so the variant problem does not apply. What varies instead is the rule set, which is visible before you sit down and matters enormously. Which blackjack rules to look for
Provider does not mean trustworthy operator
A casino carrying well known studios is not thereby a safe casino. Studios license to operators on commercial terms and their presence in a lobby says nothing about solvency, licensing or willingness to pay. A recognisable provider library says nothing about an operator’s finances. How we assess operators instead
Gambling carries a negative expected return. Over enough bets the house edge wins by design, and no ranking on this site changes that. If it has stopped being a choice, free confidential help exists: Peluuri in Finland, Stödlinjen in Sweden, BZgA in Germany, and GamCare internationally.
